Position Title Economics/Finance Adjunct Instructor
Position Summary

Job Summary:
Adjunct instructor to teach both day and evening college level course(s) in Economics (both Micro and Macro) and Personal Finance at MCCC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare class lectures, assignments and activities per Course Outline
• Provide a nurturing environment to support student success and retention
• Administer student assessments and record results
• Implement innovative pedagogical tools
• Provide student support outside of class time – hold office hours
• Participate in required adjunct duties and meetings
• Submit final grades to Division Dean

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience:
• Minimum Master’s degree in Economics or MBA in Finance (with a Bachelors in Economics) from an accredited educational institution
• At least two years of community college teaching experience
• Relevant job experience is preferred
• Proven dedication to student success
