Position Title Chemistry I/II Adjunct
Position Summary

Job Summary:
Recruitment for Chemistry I and II adjunct instructors to teach CHE 101 and CHE 102 lectures and/or laboratories during the day, evenings, and weekends at the West Windsor campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction and demonstrations in General Chemistry lecture and laboratory
• Assist students in their lecture and laboratory activities and computer assignments
• Perform instructor duties for lab courses: take attendance, give pre-lab instruction, grade lab reports, submit grades, provide a nurturing environment to support student success etc.
• Perform instructor duties for lecture courses: take attendance, prepare class lectures, create and grade exams and weekly quizzes, submit grades, provide a nurturing environment to support student success
• Encourage top performance from each and every student.
• Administer student assessments and record results
• Provide student support outside of class time as needed
• Participate in required adjunct duties

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Chemistry is required along with recent college level teaching experience in Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses.
