Position Title Administrative Specialist-Coordinator
Position Summary

This position is part time and assists with the daily operations of the Accounting Office regarding Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as needed, including but not limited to:
Review accounts payable documentation for accuracy regarding vendor, amount, general ledger account and proper approvals.
Be able to answer questions regarding payments & processing from staff & vendors. Review and process student refunds. Work with purchasing and budgeting areas to ensure proper funds are available. Assist with annual 1099 reporting and AP related reports.

Required Qualifications

3+ years direct AP experience.
Knowledge/experience of accounts payable database.
Customer service experience
Basic excel worksheet and word experience

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in accounting with practical AP experience.
Knowledge of Ellucian accounts payable
Customer service experience

Physical Demands

Able to multi task – Be able to process accounts payable and handle questions from students, vendors and staff.

Filing and Boxing records annually.
